Passenger traffic accelerated growth on Bucharest airports

For the first two months of the 2014, Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport and Bucharest Baneasa Aurel Vlaicu International Airport, the air traffic exceeded one million passengers, reaching 1.006.782 passengers, a record level for winter months. For February 2014, the total number of passengers transiting Bucharest airports increased by 8,13% compared to the same period of the last year. These results are the direct effects of the measures taken by Bucharest Airports National Company in order to attract new airlines and to expand the number of routes operated from Bucharest.

In 2013, the two airports of Bucharest, Henri Coandă International Airport and Baneasa Aurel Vlaicu International Airport recorded 7,649,503 passengers and 95,984 aircraft movements (landings and take-offs).
