Optimizing the security control for passengers and hand luggage

During the course of this month, Bucharest Airports National Company will finalize the project of optimizing the security control for passengers and hand luggage at Henri Coanda Airport. This project involves placing roller beds on all of the security control lines, installing automatic systems for recovering the trays used at the hand luggage control and also installing workstations for the secondary control of this luggage.

The roller beds have already been installed and next week the other two systems will follow:  the one for bringing the trays back into the prepare-for-control area, as well as the secondary workstations, whose role is to allow separate control of suspicious luggage without blocking the control line until it is checked.

Implementing this system will result in a significant reduction of the waiting time for security control at Henri Coanda Airport.
