Invitation to the concert

If you happen to pass through "Henri Coandă" Airport, you will be in for a surprise: on the corridor between the "Departures" and "Arrivals" terminals, you will discover a completely unexpected space, a miniature show hall, decorated in Baroque style: it’s a first project resulted from the partnership between the Bucharest Airports National Company and "Madrigal - Marin Constantin" National Chamber Choir, who inaugurated, on June 30, 2023, the "Madrigal 60" music hall, meant for the passengers, who can spend their waiting time at the airport in an atmosphere of artistic sophistication, enjoying the music performed by the well-known choral ensemble. The music lounge is dedicated to the celebration of 60 years of activity of the choir and will be open non -stop for the public until the end of 2023. The passengers can watch different pieces from the current recorded repertoire, which includes over 4200 works; the program is to be refreshed weekly.
