Supplemented checking points at Henri Coanda airport

In order to decrease the risk of congestion on the departures flow, starting this week, 2 passenger security screening lines were opened at Bucharest Henri Coanda International Airport.

At the same time, in order to ensure a balanced charging of the two control areas, monitoring and distributing of passengers to less crowded areas is carried out permanently.

Following these measures, the average waiting time for screening, during peak hours, has been reduced to 15 minutes, only seldom reaching up to 20 minutes.

Additionally, we are considering the possibility of extending the airport’s processing capabilities for continuous improvement of passenger comfort.
