Paying homage to Henri Coandă

Every year, on June 7, we pay homage to one of the greatest visionaries of the 20th century: Henri Coandă, inventor, engineer, physicist and pioneer of the world aviation. In order to celebrate his birth, Bucharest Airports National Company organized, together with the Romanian Gendarmerie, a wreath-laying ceremony in front of his bust at the Bucharest “Henri Coandă” International Airport, as a sign of appreciation for the legacy left by this huge personality of of science; the presence of the Romanian Gendarmerie Honor Guard brought the dignity and solemnity suited on such an occasion.
